AI IN SCHOOL

Work alongside AI,
not through it

AI is already in every assignment. The edge isn’t “using it or not”—it’s using it so your work still looks like yours and still holds up if a professor asks how you got there.

1

Clarify

“Explain this syllabus / chapter in plain language.” Start there so the assignment makes sense before you draft anything.

2

Plan

“Turn these due dates into a week-by-week study plan.” See Study Plan.

3

Practice

Quizzes, flashcards, and “ask me questions from my notes.” Practice until the answers come from you.

4

Check yourself

“What am I still fuzzy on?” Then go back to your class materials and fill the gaps.

5

Write last

Draft from your notes and the readings. Use AI to tighten clarity, not to invent the whole piece.

Stay safe with schoolwork

  • Prefer your course materials over random web answers (especially for discussions).
  • If you can’t explain a sentence without the chat open, rewrite it yourself.
  • Save your process (notes, outline, plan)—that’s what “I did the work” looks like.
  • When rules feel fuzzy, ask the instructor or syllabus before you lean hard on AI.

Everyone will use AI. Students who use it to learn faster keep the grade and the skill.

We’ll keep adding guides (and a short video later) on using AI this way for online classes. See Study Plan or How It Works.
